Parking is available in the North Albany Village Plaza, North Albany Elementary School and the Community Church on Thornton Lake Road.

New this year: The Albany Trolley will pick up and drop off in front of OS Federal Credit Union. Allow yourself time to get to the race staging area at North Albany Middle School in time for your race to begin. Or, warm up with a brisk walk to the Middle School (aprx. 1/4 mi)

Runners will be able to check their gear in the registration area. If you plan to check your gear, please allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to event start time.

Be sure to leave all valuables at home. Please do not place your phone, wallet, camera, jewelry or anything of value in your gear check bag. The Event will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Gear Check Process:

*Allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the race for check in of your gear

  1. You will be provided with a plastic bag, label & marker.
  2. All your gear MUST go into this bag.
  3. Print your bib number CLEARLY on the provided sticker.
  4. Leave your completed bag at the gear check counter.
  5. Bib is required to retrieve items after the Event.  Please do not destroy or discard your bib, it is your identification on Event day.

Gear Check

To ensure timing and identification, you must wear your bib on the front your shirt, on your running shorts or using a bib belt. NOTE! It is preferable that you wear the bib so that the number is visible from the front so that you can be identified by the photographer. All the remainging paragraphs are fine.

DO NOT crumple or fold the bib as this will break the transponder antenna

DO NOT place the bib between your body and your child’s (i.e. this is what happens when you carry your child when finishing the race). This action will prevent the transponder from sending its signal.

DO NOT remove your shirt and carry it folded up in your hand. This action may prevent the transponder from sending its signal if the bib itself is folded or inside your moist shirt.

The Timing Chip is disposable so no need to return it after the race. If you wish to RECYCLE the TIMING CHIP please leave it affixed to the bib and turn in the entire bib at the finish line.
