Two $1,000 prizes!
1) Register for the race before November 19.
2) On your registration form indicate which school you support.
3) Tell your friends and family and have them support your school, too!
Come out and participate in the Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race on Thanksgiving morning and support a local school. All Albany, Corvallis, Philomath, Lebanon and Jefferson public Junior High and High Schools are eligible to compete for prizes to be awarded to the two schools with the most registered participants.
A $1,000 prize will be given to the Junior High and High School that recruits the most race participants. The funds will be awarded to their PTO or Booster Club and each school will also receive a 'Lions Spirit Award' to be displayed along with their awards and trophies for the current school year.
You do not have to be a student to support a school, so encourage family and friends to sign up today for the Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race School Challenge!
A completed registration form must be received by Monday, November 19 to be included in the Oregon Mid-Valley Road Race School Challenge. Be sure to select the school you will be helping.
Note: If a winning school does not have a PTO or Booster Club the prize amount will be given to the appropriate School Foundation in the school's name.
