The Gobbler’s Revenge comes to an end after 15 years

It’s the end of an era! After 15 years, the Gobbler’s Revenge will not be returning to North Albany on Thanksgiving anymore. Our race management and timing company is going out of business as of Sept 1 and it is much too late for us to regroup and start over with a whole new technology and software system.

For all of you that spent your Thanksgiving morning with us over the past 15 years, you are an inspiration! And you can take pride in knowing that your registration fees meant hundreds of local kids and adults in need have been screened for and received eyeglasses, and in some cases corrective eye surgeries. No little thing and quite life changing.

For our Lions club and non-Lion volunteers, Thanksgiving just won’t be the same! We’ll miss your superhuman athletic feats. You built a tradition with friends and family and brought joy, sometimes goofiness and a bit of friendly competition to the day. Kudos! Thank you for bringing a jolt of community spirit to North Albany!
